The Hamax Sleepy is an ergonomically correct reclining child seat.

Hamax Sleepy is developed to offer maximum safety and comfort for your child.

The Sleepy is easily mounted to the frame of your bicycle. We use a triple indicator to make sure the seat is safely mounted and secure. The triple indicator system will tell you when the seat is correctly mounted both visually (with two red indicators) and it has a distinct - click - when the seat is secure.

The Hamax Sleepy has a tall back support, double wall side protection and excellent spoke protection. Furthermore, the seat belt harness can only be released by an adult.

The Sleepy seat has a continually adjustable reclining function to provide extra comfort for the child. If the child falls asleep during the ride, simply turn the adjustment knob to keep your son or daughter sleeping comfortably.

The seat is ergonomically fitted for children up to 6 years of age, and the upper part of the back support offers space for the child's helmet.

Sleepy is fixed to the bike on a single point on the bicycle frame, between the bicycle seat and the pedals. The single point fixation makes the Sleepy easy and quick to fit to the bicycle. The child seat is fixed to a suspension carrier which offers two distinct advantages over other systems:

1. Your child will experience a smoother ride, because the suspension takes out the bumps and shocks of riding on a bicycle
2. Because the ride is smoother, your child's spine will be protected more so than if you used a bicycle seat mounted to a luggage carrier.

By utilizing the Discovery 101, you can introduce your daughter or son to the exciting world of bicycling at a very young age. Kids love to ride with the Discovery because they can feel the wind in their faces, point to the trees, rocks, and squirrels, and actually hold a conversation with you, instead of shouting from behind you.

The Discovery 101 baby seat is designed for young children, ranging from approximately from nine months to three years of age, and is certified for children up to 33 lbs., or 15 kg.

The Discovery seat is mounted to the front portion of the frame of your bicycle. The three point safety harness is adjustable as your child grows, as are the secure foot rests. The seat belt harness requires adult finger strength and cannot be released by your child.
